I am usually the biggest sunscreen hater. As someone who gets overstimulated easily by the feeling of greasy or sticky skin, finding a sunscreen I like, and actually want to use has always been a difficult task. This all changed when I tried GLOWGUARD. When I tell you that putting my sunscreen on is one of my favourite parts of my day, I am not exaggerating. There is no noticeable smell, sticky or greasy feel, white cast, or oily shine that most sunscreens have, but instead a beautifully glowy, hydrating base for my makeup, or bare face. This is the only sunscreen I have ever wanted to repurchase, and I don't think that will ever change (unless Melitta Skin releases another version). If you need a sign to buy a new sunscreen, and try it out for yourself, this is it. I promise you won't be disappointed!
The formula itself is lovely and blends in very quickly. I'm not a fan of the packaging though - the pipette is a good idea in theory but it's bit messy and the instructions aren't very clear. They sat to dispense 1.25ml but I don't actually know how much this is - a half dropper, a full dropper?
I've long struggled to find a product that is non allergenic and non greasy to wear throughout the work day. Most sunblocks are too greasy or allergenic. I have tried several of the 'recommended' hypoallergenic brands and Glow Guard has been by far the best. Even in comparison t La Roche Posay (to which I was allergic) and Skinnies (very thick). I discovered Glow Guard after trying a sample at a launch (so glad that my bf invited me to attend!), and it has exceeded my expectations. It's super light and I'm able to wear it under a surgical mask (at work) without any irritation, allergy or breakouts. I've worn it outdoors, in the rain and under make-up and I don't even notice it on my skin. Very excited to have this on the market.
What I love about Glowguard:

What I don’t like: The pipette – it tends to leave product residue on the neck of the bottle, which leads to product wastage. A pump bottle would be a better option for hygiene and to avoid wasting any product.
I love her. It's so lightweight and it's not oily. My skin feel amazing after applying it. Highly recommended.
